Mercedes Junior Antonelli and Spanish F4 champion Van’t Hoff on F4 UAE grid

The grid for this weekends F4 UAE Exhibition race features ten drivers looking to make their mark in the new Tatuus T-421 cars.

Prema will run the quad team of Hamda Al Qubaisi, Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Conrad Laursen and Charlie Wurz.

Returning for her third year, Al Qubaisi has six victories to her name in the competition, finishing fourth in the standings both times. She also competed in the Italian F4 championship this year, a season which saw her become the first woman to score a podium in the competition.

Laursen and Antonelli also come off Italian F4 campaigns, finishing ninth and tenth in the championship.  Wurz, yes the son of two time Le Mans 24 hour and former F1 driver, also spent time in Italian F4 but found more success in the Porsche Sprint Challenge of Central Europe (GT4) where in his only two races, he won and finished third.

MP will also run four cars after accommodating GRS driver Vladislav Ryabov after GRS could not make it. 

Dilano Van’t Hoff returns to the competition, with MP not Xcel this time. The Dutch driver finished second in the last F4 UAE championship and then dominated the Spanish F4 championship. 

MP will also run fellow Dutch driver Rik Koen. The 17-year-old competed in the Spanish F4 championship racking up two podiums and 54 points, finishing eighth in the standings.

Miron Pingasov rounds out MPs team this weekend. After turning 15 in August, Miron joined the Spanish F4 championship with MP and will now look to take another step forward.

The final team, Xcel Motorsport, will run the duo of Jamie Day and Aiden Neate. Day finished sixth in last years championship, with one victory to his name. He also won the Kartmasters British Grand Prix -Rotax Mini Max, which was won by a certain George Russell.

Neate spent time with Argenti Motorsport in the British F4 championship, where he claimed three podiums and 128 points to finish ninth in the championship.
